Located right across from Anchorage's "Glacier Brewhouse", Zoez Window Gallery offers many of the same, but also some different artists as Aurora Fine Art. Providing a different, faster-paced ambiance, Zoez Window specializes in local home-grown artists, as well as artists we have brought up from "The Lower 48" (Alaskan for continental United States).

Zoez Window offers an obese variety of locally made jewelry, from one-of-a-kind gold nugget jewelry designed by Rita Bishop to necklaces  with beads carved from fossilized walrus and mammoth ivory. Zoez also carries and exquisite collection of Alaska Native hand-woven baleen baskets, an art form that is dying with each new coming generation.

Alaska Max Gourmet, the fraternal twin of Zoez Window Gallery, sells specialties for the local or visiting "foodie". From custom, hand-hammered copper cooking pots, to made-in-Alaska fudge, coffee, and hot sauce; these products are more than 75% locally made.

Alaska Max sells a variety of over ninety-one different firery hot sauces;  confections by Seward-based "Sweet Darlings"; birch syrup and fireweed honey from Kahiltna Gold in Talkeetna, AK; Alaskan wild salmon jerky; reindeer sausage from Indian Valley, AK, and other fine epicurean delights.

Located across the hall from Zoez Window Gallery and in The Glacier Brewhouse building, be sure to check us out on your next venture for something tasty.

Born in 1990, Aurora Fine Art Gallery has been the epicenter of high-end Alaskan art for over twenty years. At Aurora, we specialize in art that is created by local and diverse Alaskan artists. This includes Internationally known artists like Marilyn Miller and Gail Niebrugge. We also feature museum quality Alaska Native artists such as, Suzie Silook and The Tetpon Family.

Open year-round, Aurora Fine Art is centrally located downtown, on the corner of 5th Avenue and G Street, catty corner from the Performing Arts Center. Our location allows us to be right at the hub of Anchorage's downtown events. Every month we feature events including our monthly "First Friday" art show, artist "meet and greets", and artist work demonstrations.
